Your CV
The first step is to email us a copy of your CV. Don’t worry about the format – we’re more interested in what makes you tick and what experiences you’ve had that make you feel proud. We’ll work with you to get that across on your CV but take a look at our CV Tips section for a few ideas.
Do you have some industry experience?
To help us understand your knowledge and transferable skills, it is important to provide us with as much information as possible regarding your food industry experience. If you’ve completed a placement or worked part time, please let us know the company, the products you worked with and the tasks you fulfilled. Any work experience in the industry (from a couple of weeks to 12 months) would be beneficial to include on your CV.
How do I register with Blue Spark? What happens to your CV?
Once we have a copy of your CV we will register your details onto our database and then give you a call so we can get to know you, your ambitions and how best we can help. We’ll discuss the career path options that are available to suit your style, experience and aspirations. In addition to finding you a brilliant job we’re also happy to give advice and guidance as and when you need it.
All information you send to us is confidential and will not be shared with anyone else outside Blue Spark without your express permission. Be assured we do not send CV’s out on spec as we pride ourselves on talking through each role and company with you. We then wait for you to confirm your interest in the job before sending your CV to clients for consideration. This means you keep control of your job search and know exactly which roles and companies you have applied to.
Personal Reputation
Please be conscious that your personal reputation is out there as well as your professional one, so be aware of your personal settings on social networking sites such as Facebook, Bebo, Twitter etc.… you never know who’s checking you out!
